Founder of Azal Media, a Canadian-based boutique agency dedicated to helping writers, organizations, and brands craft powerful stories that resonate across cultures and languages. Azal offers personalized writing coaching, editorial support, translation, marketing strategy, video production, and publishing support, bringing creative visions to life and building bridges between Arab and international audiences.

I also served as Director of All Prints Distributors and Publishers, one of the Arab world’s most respected publishing houses. I’ve led the Arabic publication and distribution of major international authors, Nobel laureates, and bestselling writers across fiction and nonfiction. This work has included hundreds of titles, from landmark novels to political biographies, bridging global narratives for Arabic readers and amplifying Arab voices for global audiences.

I bring the same storytelling passion to my community work. I’ve served as elected Board Director at the Brighton Arts and Culture Council, and currently sit on the board of Arts Quinte West, supporting vibrant local arts communities.

Holding a PhD in Business Administration from Grenoble, France, focusing on marketing digital products, I combine strategic insight with a deep passion for literature and storytelling.

In 2024, I published the critically acclaimed debut novel, Nothing Is Completely Black, through the Arabic wing of the Hachette Group, Hachette-Antoine. I am grateful to have recently been awarded a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts, which supports my ongoing creative projects and literary contributions.

عملتُ ٢٠ عاماً في مجال النشر وأقدّم حالياً خدماتٍ استشاريةً لكبريات الشركات المتخصصة في مجال النشر والإعلام. شغلت دور مديرة شركة المطبوعات للتوزيع والنشر مدة ١٥ عاماً حيث عملت على إصدار وتوزيع أعمال كتّابٍ من مختلف أنحاء العالم من مثل ماغريت دوراس ويوكيو ميشيما وخوسيه ساراماغو وتوني موريسون ومو يان وكنزابورو أوي ونوال السعداوي وراوي حاج ولوكليزيو وباولو كويلو وغيرهم الكثير. توسّعتُ مؤخّراً إلى مجال الاستشارات اللغوية والخدمات المتعلّقة بالمحتوى الإبداعي وتسويقه. مقالاتي منشورة في المدن ورصيف٢٢ والنهار العربي، وروايتي الأولى “لا شيء أسود بالكامل” صدرت عام ٢٠٢٤ عن دار نوفل/هاشيت أنطوان.
